Operators will be given copies of water system construction plans and maps for treatment facilities as well as distribution systems. They will be shown how to read the maps to get the information they need to locate, operate, and make calculations from the maps. Topics include:
- Reading construction drawings
- Understanding symbols and map scales
- Reading facility plans
- Making measurements from construction plans
